WHY - The bike wheelsets we want to buy aren't easily available so we've made them. We, Peter and Tom (above) Marchment, are avid cyclists and have years of experience in the UK bike industry sourcing and marketing bike components from around the world. Tom has worked with several leading performance wheel brands. This knowledge means Hunt Bike Wheels bring you the latest practical technology and thinking in all things round. Our hubs, spokes, rims, bearings and quick-releases are manufactured by leaders in each field and are then lovingly hand-built into outstanding wheels by experts with thousands of builds to their names.
THE CHASE - The wheels used for the vast majority of rides need to be fast, light weight, suitable for wider tyres, durable, easily serviceable and provide excellent braking performance. We have become strong advocates for tubeless technology. Having tested tubeless extensively on and off road we know it provides you with noticeably improved ride quality, grip and puncture protection. All our wheels come tubeless ready, but work perfectly with standard tyres and tubes, and provide excellent specs, long-term durability and low weight. Plus you're future-proofed if you want to go tubeless later. Of course, the wheels have to look stunning yet sophisticated too. We don't spec down to a price point we just create the best wheels for each type of riding.
THE PLAN - Our wheels are available to order through your local bike shop (just ask them to contact us) or purchase directly here at HuntBikeWheels.com, with international shipping available free of charge. We invest more in the details and significantly increase the specification of each component so Hunt wheels provide maximum performance to you the rider. Our direct customer service means you will always be able to speak to a person and access the parts and servicing you need fast. Above all we want to create wheels and provide service you depend on, and allow you to perform to the highest level day-in day-out. We would love to hear how we can help you ride further and faster.
HAND-BUILT BY REAL MASTER WHEEL BUILDERS
Wheels being hand-built and finished by Mr. Hao-Cheng at our wheel building partner. He has built and finely tensioned tens of thousands of wheels for leading high-end brands during his many years as a master wheel builder. All our wheels go through a two person build and finishing process. Every wheelset then has a full quality control inspection where all features of the build are checked. Your wheels are then signed off personally by the builder on the individual control card which is supplied in the box. They show huge pride and passion in their work.
