What Our Staff Are Riding: Max's Bike Check

'I wanted something that wouldn't go out of date'

Max got his hands on a Standert Kreissage Disc Frameset 58cm after reading about them on Instagram, a rare find second-hand but a classy one.

‘I wanted something that wouldn’t go out of date, thanks to its classic looking design. I also needed something that was easy to maintain and I could ride all year, it has a T47 BB which is perfect – I didn’t want an aero bike or something that was integrated as it’s more hassle to change equipment, fix problems and pack it in a bike box for travelling. I actually heard about Standert on Instagram which led me to do some research and I just kept my eyes peeled for one. Admittedly it’s not the lightest bike on the market but it looks sick – aesthetics beat weight, right?! Also the cat on the toptube is additional steeze!’
