Most of us are a lot like bears. As the days get shorter and the clocks go back we stock up on food, put on our warm coats and retreat to our caves for the winter months. Well, maybe not exactly like bears, but with less light and worse weather time spent on the bike drops off and with it so do thoughts about upgrades. A lot of people emerge blinking with withered legs in April or May as the warm weather returns, look at their old bike, and only then start thinking about something new.

That means the bike market is a lot like the market for soft top cars and camper vans - prices reflect demand and are lower in the off season.

At this time of year we’re picking up stock at the end of the season from race teams, holiday companies as well as looking at the bikes we already have that haven’t moved on as quickly as we’d expected.

All that is a long winded way of saying that now is great time to be looking for the bike you want to be riding in spring 2018. You’ll get a wide selection to choose from all at Road Cycle Exchange’s great value pricing.

You can get earliest notice on new stock by subscribing to our mailing list, Twitter feed and keeping an eye on our New Arrivals page (and we're working on an alerts system that will give you targeted notifications)
